The Two Moats of AI Services
Jason's thesis on where durable advantage actually lives.
How it works
- 1Moat one, the margin: find the gap between what AI does at the press of a button and the value a human adds on top. Price it, know who pays for it, and be honest about how long the gap lasts.
- 2Moat two, the whole chain: stop optimizing single workflows. Map the entire demand-to-fulfillment lifecycle, deploy agent teams across all of it, and scale the company end to end.
- 3The second moat requires real knowledge of how the business actually runs, which is much harder to commoditize.
