Company AI that captures founder judgment, culture, and strategy as a living foundation and delivers it to the whole team inside Slack — so decisions happen without the founder in every room.

What it is

Dobbin is a company AI that solves the founder bottleneck: the strategy lives in your head, the taste lives in your gut, and your team waits on you for every decision. Dobbin builds a structured foundation of roughly fifteen dimensions — culture, values, brand, strategy, and objectives — drawn from whatever the founder can provide: website, Instagram, LinkedIn, or hours of audio. That foundation then operates inside Slack, where each channel gets its own scoped knowledge base. The designer drops a layout and Dobbin critiques it against the principles the team articulated. The intern asks what to prioritize. The CEO works through a strategic question. Dobbin is multimodal and model-agnostic, watching where work drifts from the foundation and proposing amendments the founder can accept or reject. Built by Joshua Liberson, a former magazine designer and brand leader at One Kings Lane who spent years advising founder-led companies and kept seeing the same bottleneck: the founder cannot be in every room.

Who it's for

Founders and operators at small to mid-sized companies where strategy, brand, and culture live in the founder's head rather than documented anywhere the team can access. Particularly valuable for remote-first teams, creative agencies, and any organization where the bottleneck on daily decisions is a single person's context.

Why it's better

  • Ambient alignment: strategy is simply present in Slack where work already happens, rather than locked in a dashboard nobody opens or a document nobody reads.
  • Microsoft estimates 57% of work time — roughly 22 hours a week — is spent coordinating. Dobbin removes the waiting without adding process overhead.
  • Channel-scoped knowledge bases mean each team function gets exactly the context it needs, not a single undifferentiated company wiki.
  • The foundation is iterative and dynamic — Dobbin proposes amendments as the company evolves rather than forcing a static document to age into irrelevance.
  • Founder-tested proof: a Mark Seliger creative agency cut RFP response time from three weeks and seventeen meetings to thirty minutes.
