He built an AI that interviews him for content while he sleeps — LINK

Jason Katz of Kindling Solutions runs a chain of Notion databases and AI agents that turns one spoken idea into finished video, posts, and carousels, and his core insight is that the AI should interview him rather than write for him so the output still sounds like him.

The AI that saved one insurer $1 billion and cost another $2 billion — LINK

Gaurav Agrawal of Collective Health says AI in healthcare is a mirror that reflects whoever points it, and his team's rule is that every AI decision has to start from how the customer benefits, never the cost savings.

Tip of the spear:

Sam Altman says no IPO under $1 trillion — LINK

Altman is reportedly holding out for a trillion-dollar valuation before going public, which could push OpenAI's IPO into 2027. That's a long runway for a company burning cash at its current pace.

It's not about Anthropic vs OpenAI anymore — LINK

The frontier-model rivalry narrative is shifting as more serious competitors enter the field. The two-horse race framing founders have relied on for context is getting outdated fast.

The white house asked OpenAI to slow gpt-5.6's rollout — LINK

OpenAI confirmed it's limiting the GPT-5.6 rollout after a direct government request over safety concerns, while publicly stating restrictions like this shouldn't become the norm. Washington is now a model release gatekeeper.

Chamath Palihapitiya raises $135m and takes the ceo seat at his AI coding startup — LINK

Chamath closed a $135 million Series A and is stepping in as CEO himself rather than backing someone else. Investors are betting on his personal involvement, not just his capital.

Most plant-based athletes are under fueled.

Momentous is the only brand that meets every standard expectation.

Without compromise. My favorite protein and creatine here at 20% disco for readers.

Framework:

Most consumer products generate exhaust no one bothers to collect. Every interaction, return, and preference is a signal, and signals aggregated at scale become a product brands will pay for. The trick is treating your consumer feedback loop as infrastructure from day one, not as an afterthought you bolt on once you have scale.

01 — Instrument every micro-decision, not just the big ones.

Don't wait for a purchase or a review to capture signal. A rental, a swipe, a swap, a return reason: each one is a data point about real preference in a real context. Build the logging layer into the product experience itself so it's invisible to the user and automatic for you.

02 — Aggregate before you monetize.

A single data point is noise; a thousand of the same data point is a trend. Resist the urge to sell access early. Spend the first stretch of the business proving the aggregate signal is consistent and predictive before you ever pitch it to a brand partner.

03 — Translate consumer behavior into brand language.

Brands don't want raw data, they want answers to questions they're already asking: what styles are working, what's wasting inventory, what's resonating regionally. Build a reporting layer that speaks in merchandising and demand-planning terms, not analytics jargon.

04 — Lead with the cost brands are already feeling.

Guesswork is expensive: overproduction, markdowns, dead inventory. Position your data product as a way to cut that waste before you talk about growth or innovation. Sustainability and margin protection sell faster than novelty.

05 — Keep the consumer business as the engine, not the afterthought.

The B2B data product only works as long as the consumer side keeps generating fresh signal. Don't let the B2B revenue distract you from investing in the experience that produces the data in the first place. The flywheel only spins if both sides keep feeding it.
