RoboticsThe field that combines engineering, computer science, and increasingly AI to build machines that perform physical tasks.RuntimeThe environment in which an application or agent executes.Sandbox EnvironmentAn isolated computing environment where hundreds of agents can work in parallel without touching production systems — the infrastructure layer of a production-grade harness.Sandboxed EnvironmentA computing setup isolated from a company's main systems, used to experiment with new tools like AI agents without compliance or security risk.SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)The structured process governing how software is planned, designed, built, tested, and delivered. Traditional hierarchy: epic → requirements → tasks → implementation → testing → deployment. BrainGrid applies the same structure to AI agent workflows because the same problems that made unstructured human development fail (unclear scope, missing edge cases, no acceptance criteria) make unstructured agent development fail faster — and because agents don't ask for clarification when confused, they hallucinate answers instead.Serverless inferenceRunning models on demand without provisioning or maintaining the GPU yourself.Skeuomorphic DesignBorrowing the look or structure of an old paradigm to help users navigate a new one. Dave uses the traditional org chart as a skeuomorphic entry point for agentic companies.Skunk projectA small side project built quietly outside the main roadmap.
